I am Ashley Jane
- and on days that I can get out of bed, I can be considered a Video Journalist who presents and produces at The Straits Times.
I am also an Artist
and in other professional terms: Writer • Director • Editor • Illustrator
I dove headfirst into the world of filmmaking after years of cross referencing, playing around and practicing the arts ― from theatre to music and visual arts.
With a BFA in Global Film Art from my joint degree programme at Paris College of Art and Emerson College, I was able to work, learn and play between Paris, Boston and Netherlands.
Currently based in Singapore, my work often explores themes of personal connection, collective loneliness and the nuances of cultural identity.
